In 1970, Bailey moved to his studio in rural Port Costa, California. Roy DeForest was his new neighbor, and they made several ceramic Dog Lamps together in 1970-1971. These collaborations have light bulbs clenched in their teeth or popping from under their tail, as they tug at their electric cords.
